Session 1: Self Massage for Feet, Legs, Hips & Low Back

This 2 hour rolling workshop will explore the lower 1/2 of the body and offer luscious release techniques for some of our crankiest and tightest zones. This session is great for people with balance challenges, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, hip tightness and/or a cranky lower back. Techniques applied will help with standard movements like walking and running and improve access to yoga poses like 1/2 pigeon, bridge, splits, lunges and all balancing postures.

Session 2: Self Massage for Arms, Shoulders, Chest & Neck

Sunday, 11/20 1-3pm

$45

VIRTUAL ONLY - NO “In Studio” Class. Link will be sent to you 15-20 min before the workshop.

This 2 hour rolling workshop will explore the upper 1/2 of the body and offer luscious release techniques for some of our crankiest and tightest zones. This session is great for people with hand and arm pain, tight shoulders, cranky upper backs and all variations of neck pain. Techniques applied will help with standard movements like throwing a ball, golfing, swinging a tennis racket and breathing exercises and improve access to yoga poses like binds, twists, backbends and shoulder stretches.

FOR BOTH WORKSHOPS

Virtual Participation & Props: No experience is necessary but some basic equipment is needed to participate virtually. Required props are needed to participate in class, recommended will offer extra enhancements and techniques. Substitute props are listed with common household items as well.

  • Required: Set of Yoga Tune Up Balls (or two tennis balls in a sock)

  • Recommended: Yoga Mat + 2 blocks

  • Recommended: Coregeous ball (or rolled up bath towel)

  • Recommended: Alpha ball (or oversized tennis ball - can purchase in dog toy section at most dollar stores)

These can be ordered on Amazon or bought at stores like Target. LPY may have a few extra used sets for purchase and you can email info@lpyyoga.com for help.
