Have you ever met our front desk staff member Kendra? She works on Sunday mornings and is always there to help greet you, check you in and help keep the studio clean. She has been with us in our Woburn location since we opened there and we are always so appreciative of her help.
Kendra’s son, Aidan, was very recently in a terrible car accident and the excerpt below is from a gofund me page setup by family friends. It is our hope that our LPY community can rally around her and help her as much as she has helped us.
Lorraine will be leading a 15-20 min Metta Meditation on Sunday 1/21 right after her 11am class. This Loving Kindness meditation is a powerful way to send our healing energy to Aidan, Kendra and all who need it. We hope to ask for a suggested donation of $15 at the door but any amount is always appreciated. Please join us. Details are below the excerpt.
“Aidan McElhinney from WHS class of ‘23 was in a serious car accident early in the morning on December 20, 2023. He is in a coma and on a ventilator in the ICU at a level 1 trauma center and is suffering from life threatening injuries. Thus far, he has had 6-7 surgeries. He has several more surgeries and numerous other medical needs ahead. As you can imagine, the family will likely incur loads of expenses to help him get through this. Hence, we set up this fund.
In addition to this tragic situation, this family also lost use of their home in April due to a house fire. It’s been a terrible year for them.
They are tremendously grateful for all the love and support this community has continually given them. As their friends, we are asking for more love and support of these kind people in this time of great need.”
