Join our lead teachers for this amazing section of our famous “Posture Clinic” series. We have run these before and they were a big hit. We were able to see (and so where the participants) real physical and mental change in how people understood their own bodies, how they moved in and out of poses.
If you are thinking about our 200 hour teacher training this is a great way to come and get to know us and our philosophies on movement and yoga!
In this two hour workshop you will explore all things associated with the beginning of class (Integration) and very specifically on the “high to low pushup” “cobra, updog, high pushup” series of poses. Did you know that as teachers we see maybe one or two people in a class who have a solid understanding of how and why these poses are done and how to do them best for their body. This is a major part of your vinyasa class, its a difficult set of moves and it’s always changing depending on what your body is working with. Did you know the angle of your wrist, elbow and shoulder joints make a difference on where you should put your hands? Or how to control an overarching in up dog? We can’t wait to explore with you! You will walk away with a deeper knowledge of why we do things the way we do at LPY and how you can tailor this part of your practice to your own body.
Space will be limited. There will be the option to have hands on adjustments or not if you are more comfortable that way.
