Join us for this special 90-minute SPA Yoga class. SPA Yoga is a slow, floor-based, whole-body experience. By engaging all five of the senses with soft candlelight, soothing music, aromatherapy, lots of hands-on assists and a renewed awareness of taste (and sometimes chocolate!), SPA aligns practitioners with the inner wisdom of deep relaxation. The physical practice takes time to open the body’s subtle energy and prepares students to experience new depths of awareness in an extended, guided savasana. During SPA Yoga, you will discover extra hands-on assists and massage, a calming candlelit room, delightful scents and beautiful music in the background.

Meet Ann Marie
Ann Marie began practicing yoga almost two decades ago and has believed in the power of this practice for both body and soul ever since. For years she was content as a practitioner and yoga helped her through everything in her life -- good and bad. In 2013, that changed when she finally got off her mat and pursued teaching. Ann Marie is a RYT-200 and SPA certified teacher who believes in the accessibility of yoga for all body types, athletic ability, and ages. Her teaching style combines physical challenges with positive reinforcement of a deeper them such as opening your heart or tapping into your inner warrior. She believes that happiness is within each and everyone of us and that yoga can help her students to tap into their inner light and happiness.
Meet Stephen
Stephen started his practice over 15 years ago when he moved from Baltimore to Boston. He began with a private lesson and immediately was drawn to the physical practice. Over time he started to enjoy a more peaceful mind, more patience with himself and others, and welcome relief from day to day stresses.
He enrolled in a teacher training program to deepen his practice, and through that program, he discovered a love for teaching. His light-hearted classes infuse humor and a genuine enthusiasm for watching people learn new things about themselves on their mat.
Stephen is a member of the yoga alliance and is an E-RYT and Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP).
Stephen has studied with David Magone, Betty Riaz and a number of other teachers and he is incredibly grateful for their kindness and willingness to share their knowledge. In addition to leading his own workshops, Stephen has assisted David Magone with yoga teacher training and meditation teacher training. He's also assisted Betty Riaz's SPA Yoga teacher training programs.
