Meditation workshop, Saturday 2/27/21
2-3:30pm
In the Buddha's language, the word karuna means compassion -- the ability to respond to suffering with kindness and care. In these exceptionally challenging days when our resilience and wellbeing is constantly tested, the practice of self-compassion is a more critical support system than ever.
Research shows that practicing self-compassion decreases stress, anxiety, and depression, and increases our emotional resilience and wellbeing.
In this workshop, you’ll learn research-backed meditative practices to cultivate self-compassion in your daily life and learn to handle what life throws at you with kindness and strength. (Note: This is a meditation workshop, and no movement will be involved.)
