Breath Work - Understanding Techniques - How & When to Use & Teach Them

Pranayama or Breath Control is taught as one of the 8 limbs of yoga. It is as important (or some may argue more important that even the asana (movement) portion of the teachings of yoga. Breath work is an accessible way to teach people to connect with their bodies in a really powerful way. Learning how to teach it and do it for yourself will transform who you are and what you have to offer.

Who Is This For:

This course is perfect if you want to know how, when and why you should teach breath work. It is also great for an every day person who wants to harness the tools of breath to sleep better, relax more, balance hormones and energy & feel energized and productive.

Why Is This Course Unique:

This course approaches breath work from a functional, physiological and nueroscience background. We look at how breath control can affect the nervous system, hormonal release and emotions. While most yoga pranayama teachers approach the breath from an energetic standpoint, this course takes a more scientific and mechanical approach. You will get a chance to practice each style and learn how and when to teach it & you also get access to a public workshop I run so you can start learning how to create a reoccurring breath offering.
